The new trailer for the thriller film, titled Anniversary, directed by Jan Komasa, places the character of Diane Lane in a backbreaking situation. With a recognisable cast featuring Dylan O Brien, Kyle Chandler, Madeline Brewer, Zoey Deutch, Phoebe Dynevor, McKenna Grace and Daryl McCormack, the movie is scheduled to be released in the theatres on October 29.
The storyline focuses on the home disturbance of a family as Josh (played by O Brien) brings his girlfriend Liz (played by Dynevor). Suspense is created because the newcomer, Liz, not only becomes new, but she is also an ex-disciple of the character, Ellen, who is a teacher. Further complicating the family relations, Liz also has a troubling history that poses many questions to Ellen.
Lane, as Ellen voices her distress in one revealing moment of the trailer. She adds that the new girlfriend of their son was once a former student and emphasises the radical ideology of Liz.
The conflict escalates when Ellen becomes worried about the possibility that Liz might not be hanging out with Josh by coincidence. This statement touches on the issues explored in this film, as Lane remarks that it is no coincidence that she has hooked up with Josh.
The emotional rivalry is raised a notch higher when O’Brien’s Josh comes eye to eye with Ellen on her critical disapproval.
The screenwriter was Lori Rosene-Gambino, and the story was written by Komasa and Rosene-Gambino. The crew of the movie is Nick Wechsler, Steve Schwartz, Paula Mae Schwartz, and Late Churchill.

In a different scene, O Brien confronts Lane over her feelings about Dynevor. “Can you pretend to be happy for me?” O Brien asks. “You couldn’t bend her your way. It drives you insane.”
