Thousands of Spotify customers worldwide are being impacted by serious server problems. Over 17,000 complaints were filed in the United States, with reports peaking at 5:45 p.m. IST. Spotify has not yet released a statement regarding the incident, although this comes after a string of outages in recent weeks.
On Tuesday night, hundreds of customers could not access Spotify, one of the world’s most popular music streaming services, due to new server problems.
Shortly after 5:45 p.m. IST, reports of the disturbance started to increase, according to outage tracking website Down Detector.com. In India, over 160 people reported issues, and in the US, complaints surpassed 17,000 individuals.
This is the most recent in a series of Spotify service outages that have occurred in recent weeks.
According to Spotify Status, the company’s official X account for outage alerts, the company had many outages in April and another disruption a few weeks ago.

According to the survey, 94% of American customers are having trouble with the Spotify app, 4% are having trouble with the website, and 1% are having trouble with the search feature.

An X user named Acute Radiation vented their rage by saying, “Spotify Down those morning :/ was working 20 mins ago.”

There is no information about the cause of the outage or the anticipated restoration date. The music app has experienced outages before. The app fell down for thousands of users back on April 16. After a few hours, it was fixed.
