NS&I has revealed that ERNIE has delivered an early summer boost with the June 2025 Premium Bond, which created two millionaires. Over 5.9 million prizes were drawn this month, worth more than 416 million pounds to the June 2025 Premium Bonds winner.
Savers can win big prizes every month when the NS&I Premium Bonds winning numbers are declared. More than 24 million people are now participating in the government-backed savings scheme.
Premium Bonds are a type of investment product from NS&I (National Savings and Investments). This scheme is owned by the government.
The Premium Bonds are a type of investment in which investors can not earn any interest on their money. Rather, there is an annual prize fund rate. Every month, the Electronic Random Number Indicator Equipment selects the Premium Bonds winning prize number. The bondholders can make a minimum investment of 25 pounds in this scheme.
The winning Premium Bonds number for June has been announced, with two more people scooping the 1 million top prize. This month, more than five million people will receive the cash prize.
For June, the Premium Bonds numberholders who can celebrate their 1 million winning are:
- 103FE583469, from Stockport, Greater Manchester
- 352AC359547 from Edinburgh, Scotland
79 bondholders won the 100,000 Pounds prize, 158 bondholders won 50,000 pounds, and 316 bondholders won 25,000 pounds.
To check whether a bondholder has won a prize this month, bondholders should go to the NS&I website and enter their premium bond prize checker number. Then, they can find out if they have been selected for a prize.
If the bondholder has the NS&I app, the bondholder can also check their number in the app. Alternatively, bondholders can ask Alexa whether they have been lucky enough to get the prize.
For June 2025, a total of 5,974,465 prizes will be paid to the savers, and it is worth 416,221,075 pounds. Bondholders can start checking their numbers from June 3 by visiting the NS&I website.
The Premium Bonds prize winners also get notification of their winnings. If the bondholders have registered their contact details, they will receive text messages or emails from NS&I acknowledging their prize winnings. However, if the bondholders forget to register their contact details, this can lead to unclaimed prizes.
In Edinburgh, there are 10,720 unclaimed prizes, and the largest unclaimed prize is worth 25,000.
In Stockport, there are 10,720 unclaimed prizes, and the largest unclaimed prize is worth 100,000 pounds.
