The much-awaited fight between YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul and Mike Tyson has been rescheduled for a new date.
The first fight was scheduled to happen on July 20; however, Tyson experienced a fight scare when he was travelling to Los Angeles from Miami, postponing the fight between the duo.
Following the fight scare on May 26, the boxer required some medical treatments and rest.
However, the fight has been rescheduled for Friday, November 15. It will be available to stream on Netflix and will begin at 8 p.m. ET. Tyson and Paul are set to face off on November 15 at the AT&T Stadium, in Texas.
Potentially, it is suspected that the fight will take place in front of a massive 80,000 spectators.
Tyson’s last professional fight took place in 2005, and he faced a loss to Kevin McBride. His recent victory dates back to 2003, it was a first-round knockout against Clifford Etienne.
Tyson participated in an exhibition competition with Roy Jones Jr. in 2020. The match concluded in a draw following eight rounds.
Jake Paul is known as the Problem Child, but he made a significant impact in the world of boxing since turning professional in 2020.
He has a record of 10 wind and 1 loss during his professional boxing career. He was only defeated against Tommy Fury in 2023.
Paul’s recent fight was a knockout victory against former UFC fighter Mike Perry in July.
Tyson confessed that his return to boxing was not influenced by financial gain. His present income primarily comes from his cannabis ventures. However, he desires to attempt a risk by taking on the fight against Paul.
Tyson said that he could be waiting on a check every day from cannabis. However, that’s bulls for him. He added that he is a man and he wants to go out there and want to expose himself to risk.
He wants to see who he is, and what he is made out of. he also confessed that he wanted to perform in front of the world. However, Tyson recently said that he is not a very good health condition.
Since the fight’s announcement, Paul has faced criticism. However, Paul refutes the notion that financial gain is the main motive behind the fight.
The 27-year-old said that he is a kid from Ohio..they will never give him credit. He also added that the people think he is going to get knocked out by the strong, powerful guy.
